Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data Kithe collects when you contact us, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it.
Who we are
Kithe is a growth and innovation consultancy. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Kithe. We are the data controller for the personal data you provide through this website, which means we decide how and why it is used. You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@kithe.uk.
What we collect
When you complete our contact form we collect only the details you choose to give us: your name, your email address, your organisation (if you provide it), and the content of your message. We also record that you gave consent for us to respond, and the time you gave it. We do not ask for any special category data, and we would rather you did not include sensitive personal information in a first message to us.
Why we collect it (lawful basis)
We use your details for one purpose: to read and respond to your enquiry. Our lawful basis under the UK GDPR is your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box and submitting the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us, and withdrawing it does not affect anything we did before you asked.
How we use it
We use the information only to reply to you and to follow up on the conversation you started. We do not sell your data, we do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not use it for automated decision making or profiling.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any follow up, and then we delete it. As a guide, if a conversation does not lead anywhere we remove the correspondence within about twelve months. If a conversation leads to a working relationship, any further data handling is covered by the agreement we put in place with you.
Who processes it for us
A small number of trusted providers process this data on our behalf, under contract and only on our instructions:
- Resend delivers your enquiry to our inbox as an email. Your message passes through Resend so that it reaches us.
- Vercel hosts this website and provides its privacy respecting, cookieless analytics. Vercel processes standard technical information (such as your approximate region and the pages requested) to serve the site and to give us aggregate, non-identifying visit statistics.
We do not share your details with anyone else, and we never share them for someone else's marketing. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, that transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the UK's international data transfer provisions.
Analytics and cookies
We use privacy respecting, first party analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) that do not set advertising cookies and do not track you across other websites. Because of that, this site does not need a cookie consent banner. If we ever adopt analytics or tools that would require one, we will update this policy and add a banner before turning them on.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw your consent. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@kithe.uk and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk, if you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and change the date below. For anything relating to this policy or your data, email hello@kithe.uk.
